Contemporary Diecast Series Tuning Machines
After the successful restoration of many vintage tuning machine lines, we turned our attention further towards the modern musician. It became clear that with modern guitar production methods, many mass produced guitar models were being outfitted with low gear ratio, diecast, screw-in bushing tuning machines. There were also very few affordable replacement options available to guitarists looking to get the most out of their instruments.
Production began on the Contemporary Diecast Series with a 19:1 gear ratio as a standard feature, these tuning machines include the single offset mounting screw commonly used with 6-in-line import instruments. Now available in locking and non-locking versions in both 3 per side and 6 in line sets and even a special 2-pin version for Fender® guitars. Our Contemporary Diecast Series serves as both a high quality upgrade and premier OEM tuning machine option.
