Kluson® Icon Spitfire Hot Single Coil Ceramic Pickups
The Spitfire is a hot single coil pickup that cleans up nicely, and works great with overdrive effects. It stays focused in gain applications with a raunchy tone characterized by strong mids and cutting highs. Resistance is very reminiscent of vintage single coil pickups but the addition of Ceramic magnets give this bite and edge needed to cut through a mix and maintain clarity. The Spitfire would be great in a H-S-S application using either the Hurricane or Tempest as a bridge position humbucker. Now available in the Kluson Icon pickup line.
